After he was believed to be the caliph, he stood and delivered his first speech: "O mankind, indeed I have been given the mandate to lead you all and I'm not one of the best of you, if I'm doing good so please help me, but if you make a mistake then luruskanlah, honesty is mandate, is a lie is treasonous, weak people among you will be strong by my side until I can relieve his burden, God willing, while the strong men among you are weak by my side until I can take the rights from him, God willing, not a people to leave the duty of jihad except Allah will hinakan them, and not spread immorality in a nation unless God will put their disaster, obey me as long as I obey Allah and His Messenger, but if I depart in Allah and His Messenger, then there is no obedience to me upon you ".
During kekhilafahannya Abu Bakr had to fight the apostates and dissidents to pay zakat, he said: "By Allah if they prevent me a bunch of camels which they performed the commandment of Allah while Prophet's life, then I will fight them". And in war he always taught the civilized war, to bequeath to his troops not to kill people who are elderly, young children and women, people who worship house of worship and do not burn plants and cut down trees.

Caliph Abu Bakr also never send troops to the land of Syria, Iraq and eventually the entire population converted to Islam.
And among the achievements made in the kekhilafahannya was he ever ordered to reconstitute the Qur'an and wrote it after many of the martyrs among the huffadz.
