CAUSES OF WAR

DREAM Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam
Before this war broke out, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam shown events that will happen in this war through dreams. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam told this dream to his friend. He is the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:
"I dreamed then swung his sword broken sword tip. It was (cue-important life), the calamities that befall the Muslims in the Battle of Uhud. Then I swung the sword again and then the sword was good again, better than ever. It was (cue-important life) that Allah Ta'ala bestowed victory and unity of the Muslims. In the dream I also saw the cow-And what was God doing it is the best-It (cue) against the Muslims (who are victims) in the battle of Uhud. Kindness is a virtue that Allah Ta'ala bestowed and reward honesty that Allah Almighty blessed after the battle of Badr ".
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam menakwilkan dream he is with the defeat and death will happen in the battle of Uhud.
When knowing the arrival of Quraish to invade the Muslims in Medina, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked the Sahaba deliberation to take best action. Are they still living in Medina wait and greet the enemy in the city of Madinah or whether they will meet the enemy outside Medina?
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam survive tend to invite the Companions in Medina and urban warfare, but a group of the Ansar radhiallahu'anhum said,

"Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam offer something, but you asked the other. O Hamza, see Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and say, "We follow the opinion". "
Radhiallahu'anhu Hamza came to see the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said,' Messenger of Allah, true followers blame each other and finally said, 'We followed your advice. "Hearing these words, he's uncle, the Prophet Salallahu' Allaah be upon said:
'Indeed, if a Prophet was wearing his war equipment, then he would not take it off until there were wars'.
Consensus decision is facing the enemy outside the city of Medina. Ibn Ishaq rahimahullah and others say that 'Abdullah ibn Salûl agree with the opinion of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam to stay in Medina. While at-Tabari bring history as opposed to the history of Ibn Ishaq rahimahullah, but in which both chains have accused person and often make mistakes. Therefore, al-Bâkiri in his thesis further strengthen the history that was delivered by Ibn Ishaq rahimahullah.
The Ulema sirah Experts say that what motivated the Sahaba to meet the enemy outside Medina namely the desire to show their courage in the face of the enemy, nor the desire to take part in jihad, because they do not get a chance to take part in the Battle of Badr.
Meanwhile, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam would prefer to stay and survive in Medina, because he wanted to take advantage of the buildings of Medina and take advantage of people who lived in Medina.
