In his book , Ismail Ansari writes as follows :
" What we need to do is prove that we are a Muslim . Muslims are required by Allah سبحانه و تعالى , not Muslims alone as we thought . Because we are the servants of Allah سبحانه و تعالى not slaves themselves . Since we expect the pleasure of Allah سبحانه و تعالى not pleasure yourself . Therefore , to prove that we are a Muslim , then we have air- Islamic way Allah سبحانه و تعالى not in our own way . But what about air- Islam by Allah سبحانه و تعالى ? " ( " Way - Islamic Aqeedah Transformation in Life " - Ismail Ansari ; An - Nur Books Publishing , 2008 , p. 7 )
Today, not a few Muslims are air- Islam according to his own will or the will of others. So he made his own criteria for who is called Muslim . And because it is a criterion of its own , it tends to suit our individual preferences . For example , he considers himself Muslim when it is utter two sentences creed , regardless of their need to understand the consequences . He thought only to have verbally say two sentences creed means someone is definitely preserved from the flames of hell and go to heaven . He took refuge behind such hadith :
من قال لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة
Whoever said, " There is no deity ( worthy of worship ) except Allah ( laa ilaha illa Allah ) , surely he go to heaven . " ( Hadith Sahih Tirmidhi No. History . 2562 )
While Shaykh Abu Abdurrahman Al - Atsari wrote as follows :
" There is also a similar hadith . Many of them assume that the utter two sentences creed is enough Islam and established the right to go to heaven despite not doing prayer , committing wrongdoing , insult Allah سبحانه و تعالى His Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم and verse , Allah سبحانه و تعالى associating with something who do not have power , give loyalty to the enemies of Allah سبحانه و تعالى from Jews and Christians and the communists , applying the laws of infidels , for human ignorance Constitution , prohibiting most rules of Islam and combat it , such as jihad fii sabilillah , as happened in the land of the Muslims today . Obviously it only happens to stupid people or imbecile who defend the Evil , which grows from childhood to old above the rules ... " ( " Al - Haqq wal - Yaqin fi ' Adawat At- Tughat wal - Murtaddin " - Abu Abdurrahman Al - Atsari ; Islamika Media , 2009, p. 17 )
Say two sentences creed is an official form of someone saying to Islam , but just saying it does not necessarily make someone a true believer . He needs to prove himself through a variety of experiences in his life so that it is clear that the words in oral , justification in the evidence with all your heart and limb alignment and there goes no conflict between one part and another . All that needs to be supported by science and charity . Therefore Allah سبحانه و تعالى says that everyone who claims Muslims need to be tested in order to clear whether truthful or false confession .
أحسب الناس أن يتركوا أن يقولوا آمنا وهم لا يفتنون ولقد فتنا الذين من قبلهم فليعلمن الله الذين صدقوا وليعلمن الكاذبين
" Do men think that they will be left ( only) say : " We believe " and they will not be tested? And verily We have tested those before them , so Allah knows those who really and truly He knows people who lie . " ( Surat al - Ankabut [ 29 ] : 2-3 )
A Muslim must be having a variety of test from Allah سبحانه و تعالى . Sometimes a difficult exam and sometimes a pleasure . All exams are meant to uncover what kind of Muslims like ourselves each. Are we including an honest Muslim , which means entering into a true believer groups . This is among the class of Allah سبحانه و تعالى described in Surah Al - Kahf :
إن الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات كانت لهم جنات الفردوس نزلا خالدين فيها لا يبغون عنها حولا
" Surely those who believe and work righteousness , for them is heaven paradise into a living , they shall live , they do not want to move from it . " ( Surat al - Kahf [ 18 ] : 107-108 )
Or is it the kind of Muslims liars . And if it includes a liar , then he can get into the group described Munafiqun Allah سبحانه و تعالى as follows :
ومن الناس من يقول آمنا بالله وباليوم الآخر وما هم بمؤمنين يخادعون الله والذين آمنوا وما يخدعون إلا أنفسهم وما يشعرون
" Among men there who say , ' We believe in Allah and the Last Day ' , when in fact they were not the people who believe . Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and they are not aware . " (Surat Al - Baqarah [ 2 ] : 8-9 )
In addition , a Muslim liar can go down among idolaters the people to Allah سبحانه و تعالى .
وما يؤمن أكثرهم بالله إلا وهم مشركون
" And most of them do not believe in God , but in a state to Allah ( the other gods - gods ) . " ( Surah Yusuf [ 12 ] : 106 )
There is another possibility that a Muslim liars third into the class of the murtaddun ( the apostate ) . He was convicted out of Islam for committing offenses including categories nawaqidh al - faith ( Islam canceling ) .
ولئن سألتهم ليقولن إنما كنا نخوض ونلعب قل أبالله وآياته ورسوله كنتم تستهزئونلا تعتذروا قد كفرتم بعد إيمانكم
And if you ask them ( about what they are doing it ) , they would reply , " We were only joking and playing around ." Say: " Was it at Allah , His verses and His Messenger you were mocking ? Never mind you're sorry , because you disbelieved after believing . " (Surat At- Tawbah [ 9 ] : 65-66 )
Muslim liar Munafiqun into the class , and murtaddun mushrikun are truly losers bracket . Because they essentially can not be called a believer . They will be forever in Hell .
Regarding the hypocrites Allah سبحانه و تعالى will put them in the worst torments of hell :
إن المنافقين في الدرك الأسفل من النار ولن تجد لهم نصيرا
" Surely the hypocrites ( placed ) on the low level of hell . And you're never going to get a helper for them . " ( Surat an - Nisa [ 4 ] : 145 )
While the mushrikeen Allah سبحانه و تعالى describe their situation as people who did not received all deeds they have done , no matter how much kindness , pious and charitable deeds which she had done .
لئن أشركت ليحبطن عملك ولتكونن من الخاسرين
" Really, if you do shirk , will undoubtedly wipe your deeds and you certainly among those who perish. " ( Surah Az - Zumar [ 39 ] : 65 )
As for the murtaddin , then they become equal footing with the unbelievers . Because they are willing to abandon the faith and instead chose to be infidels . Allah سبحانه و تعالى describes them as follows :
ومن يرتدد منكم عن دينه فيمت وهو كافر فأولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون
" Whoever amongst you apostates from his religion , then he dies in disbelief , then they are useless deeds in the world and in the Hereafter , and they are the dwellers of the Fire , they will abide therein . " (Surat Al - Baqarah [ 2 ] : 217 )
Therefore in Islamic history there are many examples where the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم and the main companions treat people who are Muslim status , but treated as a person outside Islam . The people that say two sentences creed . But they have been assessed out of the religion of Islam for his involvement in the offense is categorized as nawaqidh al - faith ( Islam canceling ) .
One of them is described by Ibn Kathir in his commentary in the book when discussing surah An - Nisa verse 65 :
" Two men came to the Prophet Muhammad odds صلى الله عليه و سلم then he decided not guilty to the right parties at the wrong parties . Found guilty parties would not accept and said to him : " I do not accept! " Then the other one asked : " Then what do you want ? " He replied : " We went to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq " they went away . Person who is judged not guilty said to Abu Bakr : " We have been looking for justice to the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم ago I was given the decision of not guilty . " Abu Bakr and said to him : " You both have to accept what has been decided by the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم . " but that one is not willing to accept . The two later met Umar bin Khattab , the person who is judged not guilty saying : " We have been looking for justice to the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم ago I was given the decision of not guilty but the other does not want to accept . " Hearing this problem then Umar asked him and answered correct. Umar then go and go again bring his sword drawn in his hand . Then people who do not want to accept the decision of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم is slashed his neck .. " Then the following verse came down :
فلا وربك لا يؤمنون حتى يحكموك فيما شجر بينهم ثم لا يجدوا في أنفسهم حرجا مما قضيت ويسلموا تسليما
" But no, by your Lord , they are ( in fact ) do not believe until they make you judge in the case that they can not agree , then they have no reservations in their hearts against the verdict you gave , and they were received with the utmost . " ( Surat an - Nisa [ 4 ] : 65 )
Subhanallah ... ! It is remarkable premonition Umar radi ' anhu . He can detect disbelief in anyone who does not go to accept the decision that has been taken by the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم but been confirmed also by the companions Abu Bakr al- Siddiq radi ' anhu . Imagine , Allah سبحانه و تعالى need to swear in the name of Him as Lord . Allah سبحانه و تعالى says in the above verse begins with the word : " But no, by your Lord " . That is, Allah سبحانه و تعالى very seriously want to explain the disappearance of faith in oneself a Muslim , but he admitted that ( 1 ) remains reluctant to make the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم as a judge , and ( 2 ) remain in his heart objected against the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه decision و سلم and ( 3 ) do not fully accept the decision of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم is .
The above incident is just one of many examples of the early generations of Muslims who are not easily fooled judge someone as a Muslim only by relying that the person has verbally say two sentences creed .
يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك
"O ( Allah ) the One who was tossing turning my courageous heart is above your religion . " ( Hadith Sahih Tirmidhi No. History . 2066 )
