Due diligence in worship and study, Prophet Idris Allah blessed with vast knowledge and deep. He was the first man to write with a pen and the only prophet who lived in heaven without dying.
Prophet Idris was born in Munaf, an area in Egypt. He is a descendant of the sixth Prophet Adam, the son of Yazid bin Mihla'iel Qinan bin Syits. He is the father of Noah's grandfather U.S.. Prophet Idris Syits teach reading Shafiah. Down 30 Shahifah Allah to the Prophet Idris AS which contains instructions to be delivered to his people (descendants of Cain who rebel against God).
Idris Shafiah small study diligently, because that's his favorite reading, he got the title of "Idris", which means people are keen to learn. He learned to read and write without knowing the time and place. He became the first prophet who writes with pen made of gravel. No wonder that God confers broad knowledge.
It was he who originally clever arithmetic and astronomy, and he is also the first man to merancak horses, cutting pakian made of animal skins and sewed.
He has great strength and heroic temper, so given the nickname "Asadul Usud", meaning lion of all lions. He was never the slightest neglect of the remembrance of God, despite being busy dealing with important issues daily. Until God gave him a high degree.
Like the Prophet Adam and Prophet Syits, Prophet Idris also receive God's revelation through the Angel Gabriel in the form of 30 Shahifah which contains instructions to be submitted to His People. He was sent to preach to the people in the descendants of Cain. This race has been disobedient to God. They cause various disasters and corruption on earth. By Prophet Idris invited these people praying, fasting and alms.
But the descendants of Cain refuses to hear the call to goodness. Instead they insult and mock the Prophet Idris. "Our lives are comfortable, happy and self-sufficient, why are you bothering us? Ask a few key people from the clan.
"Strange your teaching, we do not need it!" Said the other. "Better you live alone with your Lord."
That's the challenge of preaching the Prophet Idris for decades spreading the truth. Only a few people who would follow him. Most of them prefer to follow their own lusts.
Because the descendants of Cain increasingly opposed to the teachings of Idris, Allah commanded the Prophet Idris and brought his followers to leave their loyal and willing to have faith in God to save themselves. Because God will lower the punishment to the people who rebel against it.
Once the Prophet Idris and his followers left the country, came the punishment promised by God. Rampant famine, agricultural failure, livestock death, finally people are misguided and even then lying dead from starvation.
Instead, the Prophet Idris and the believers who follow God rescued from that terrible disaster.
